The 9 Bar Collective

Here's my Demitasse for the Benetti's 9 Bar Collective. Not my first choice for a demitasse, but it will have to do till I get one that's more my style. I couldn't find a saucer to go with the Demitasse, so I made one from some copper pipe. I figure it went along with the 9-Bar motif. I've got another design coming soon.

Macciatos are my favorite. They give my mornings a nice bite or what I call . . . Traction.

Heard this song (Born On The Bayou) on the radio today. It's Creedence Clearwater Revival. According to Wiki "Their musical style encompassed rock and roll and swamp rock genres" . . . Swamp Rock? How many different classifications of Rock-n-Roll are there? The funny thing is they look like a lot of bands today

Does it get any better than this?

Now, when I was just a little boy,
Standin' to my Daddy's knee,
My poppa said, "Son, don't let the man get you
Do what he done to me."
'Cause he'll get you,
'Cause he'll get you now, now.
And I can remember the fourth of July,
Runnin' through the backwood, bare.
And I can still hear my old hound dog barkin',
Chasin' down a hoodoo there.
Chasin' down a hoodoo there.

[Chorus:]
Born on the Bayou;
Born on the Bayou;
Born on the Bayou.

Wish I was back on the Bayou.
Rollin' with some Cajun Queen.
Wishin' I were a fast freight train,
Just a chooglin' on down to New Orleans.

[Chorus]

Do it, do it, do it, do it. Oh, Lord.
Oh get back boy.

I can remember the fourth of July,
Runnin' through the backwood bare.
And I can still hear my old hound dog barkin',
Chasin' down a hoodoo there.
Chasin' down a hoodoo there.

[Chorus]

All right! Do, do, do, do.
Mmmmmmm, oh.
