Practice Day 2


Here are my practice tubes jigged and fluxed up ready to go. After a clinical cleaning of course.

Some call this the stringer or tinning the joint. Here you give the joint a once over sealing it. This insures penetration. I turn up the torch a bit her so the brass runs a little bit faster so it doesn't build up. As you can see though I let it get away from me.

Here's what it looks like after the fillet is layed down.

Here is what it looks like cleaned up. Once I get my glasses Monday I'll be ready to start brazing up the front triangle.
